HOOPS N DREAMS NO-REFUND, FUNDRAISING & SPONSORSHIP POLICY
Effective September 9, 2026
Hoops N Dreams is committed to providing a quality youth basketball program for our players and families.
The organization makes financial commitments based on player enrollment and participation, including uniforms, equipment, coaching, gym expenses, tournaments, events, and other program costs.
The following policy applies to registration, team fees, fundraising, donations, and sponsorships.
REGISTRATION & TEAM FEES
Hoops N Dreams maintains a no-refund policy for registration fees, team fees, monthly dues, and other program-related payments, except where otherwise required by law or expressly approved under the Exceptional Circumstances section below.
Refunds will not be provided because a player voluntarily quits, stops attending practices or games, becomes inactive, leaves the team, or is removed from the program in accordance with Hoops N Dreams rules.
Refunds will not be provided for game cancellations or forfeits resulting from circumstances outside the reasonable control of Hoops N Dreams.
Third-party processing and transaction fees are non-refundable.
FUNDRAISING, DONATIONS & PLAYER SPONSORSHIPS
Money received through Hoops N Dreams fundraising activities, donations, and player sponsorships is intended to support legitimate basketball and program-related expenses, including uniforms, equipment, coaching, tournaments, events, and other approved team expenses.
When a donor selects a specific player, the sponsorship is intended to help offset that player's eligible team-related expenses while participating in Hoops N Dreams.
Fundraising and sponsorship proceeds are not personal funds belonging to the player, parent, or guardian and are not maintained as personal cash accounts.
Fundraising proceeds, donations, and sponsorship contributions are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash or paid directly to a player, parent, or guardian.
If a player voluntarily leaves the team, stops attending, becomes inactive, or is removed from the program, any unused fundraising or sponsorship proceeds remain with Hoops N Dreams and may be used for legitimate team or program-related expenses.
Contributions made without selecting a particular player may be used to support Hoops N Dreams players and program expenses according to program needs.
CREDIT TRANSFERS
Hoops N Dreams may review requests for an eligible registration credit transfer before practices or the season begins. Approval is not guaranteed.
If a transfer is approved, the following administrative fees apply:
- Before the registration deadline: $10
- After the mandatory skill evaluation date: $20
- After teams have been formed: $30
Once practices or the season have begun, transfer requests will not be accepted.
Transfers will not be approved solely because of coach or player preferences, requested practice days or times, team placement, or other preferences that Hoops N Dreams cannot guarantee.
TEAM RULES & PARTICIPATION
Players and parents/guardians are expected to follow Hoops N Dreams Team Rules, Code of Conduct, attendance expectations, coach instructions, safety requirements, and applicable gym or facility rules.
Repeated absences, continued failure to participate, inappropriate conduct, failure to follow team rules, or conduct that substantially interferes with the team or program may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the program when appropriate.
A player's voluntary departure, inactivity, suspension, or removal from the program does not automatically create a right to a refund of fees or a cash payment of fundraising or sponsorship proceeds.
MONTHLY DUES
Monthly dues are currently $150 and are due by the 5th of each month.
Parents and guardians are responsible for keeping required team dues current. Failure to remain current may affect a player's participation in practices, games, tournaments, or other team activities, subject to Hoops N Dreams policies.
Monthly dues are subject to this No-Refund Policy.
CANCELLATIONS & PROGRAM CHANGES
Hoops N Dreams may adjust practices, games, tournaments, locations, schedules, coaches, or other program activities when reasonably necessary.
Changes resulting from gym availability, tournament scheduling, weather, safety concerns, opponent cancellations, forfeits, or circumstances outside the reasonable control of Hoops N Dreams do not automatically entitle a participant to a refund.
EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES
In exceptional and unforeseen circumstances, Hoops N Dreams may consider a request concerning registration fees only on a case-by-case basis.
If a registration refund is approved, a $55 administrative fee per registration may apply.
Approval of one exception does not require Hoops N Dreams to approve another request.
This exception does not apply to fundraising proceeds, donations, or sponsorship contributions.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Parents and guardians are responsible for reviewing this policy before registering, making payments, participating in fundraising, or accepting player sponsorships.
By registering a player and accepting the applicable terms during registration, the parent/guardian acknowledges the Hoops N Dreams policies presented through the registration process.
Donors and sponsors should review the applicable fundraising or sponsorship terms before submitting a contribution.

Hoops N Dreams No Refund Policy
Hoops N Dreams maintains a strict no-refund policy.
In the event of game cancellations or forfeits not caused by Hoops N Dreams, its organizers, or staff, refunds will not be provided.
If Hoops N Dreams is required to close due to COVID-19 or any global pandemic, all fees paid are non-refundable. Additionally, any processing fees paid will not be refunded, as these fees are directly paid to third-party companies handling our online payment transactions.
Hoops N Dreams reserves the right to review and consider any requests for credit transfers.
If a credit transfer is approved, the following fees will apply based on the date the request is received:
- Before the registration deadline: $10 fee
- After the mandatory skill evaluation date: $20 fee
- After teams have been formed: $30 fee
Once the practice or season has begun, no transfer requests will be accepted.
Please note that transfer requests will not be granted based on coach or player preferences or specific practice dates and times, as these cannot be guaranteed.
In exceptional cases of unforeseen circumstances not covered above, a refund may be considered, subject to a $55 administrative fee per registration. Each case will be reviewed individually.
